Poster Design

I advertised the Circus Smirkus because I love watching animals do cool stunts! :)

Scanography

Scanography, is commonly referred to as scanner photography, it is the process of capturing digitized images of objects for the purpose of creating printable art using a flatbed "photo" scanner with a CCD array capturing device. You had to scan with the scanner open when you scanned 2-D and 3-D objects. The moving object looks really cool because you can tell its moving down the page.

Carter Mountain

My favorite image I took was the picture of the Carter's Mountain barn. I really enjoyed adding text and editing the image.

Reflections

The type of reflection I chose to create was the double image reflection!

Portraits

Three techniques I used for these portrait images I took was creating an ink sketch, cross-processing, and portrait to custom shape.

David Hockney

Who is David Hockney and what does his work look like?

David Hockney  is an English painter, draughtsman, print maker, stage designer and photographer, who is based in a few places all over the world.  His work looks like a single photograph turned into a collage of Polaroids, with each Polaroid containing a small section of the overall image.

Skin Softening

I softend the skin by using these steps:
1.Duplicate the Background Layer (the one you just patched or cleaned up)
2.Blend Mode Of "Layer 1" to "Overlay"
3..Apply the "High Pass" Filter to Layer 1
4.Invert "Layer 1"
5.Lower The Opacity Of "Layer 1" To Fine-Tune The Amount Of Skin Softening
6. Add a Layer Mask To "Layer 1"
7. Select The Brush Tool
8. Set Your Foreground Color To Black
9. Paint Over The Details In The Face To Hide The Softening Effect
10. Paint Away The Effect From The Rest Of The Image

DaFont

  • DaFont is a free website where you can download fonts. Fonts are categorized in many different ways. There are around 1,000 on the web. I created a girl on the phone and the caption as Call Me Maybe?? with a bunch of hearts. Its a flirty font so it goes great with the picture!

Favorite Photographer video

The new program I used was Window Movie Maker. I choose Ken Rockwell because I really enjoyed his cheerful pictures! They were all about nature and very beautiful images. Also all the color and the details are very impressive.

Lights

Some new tools we used were:
 pen tool: draw a curve
gradient tool: You can add a background color and other cool effects.

Collage

This picture is a replication of Drouge artwork. My work compares to his by using the bright colors and numbers. I thought of a teen movie just like Grecce and I used my imagination to

Shapes

Some shapes I found in the most pictures were squares, circles, rectnagles, and a bunch more! It was super easy to find shapes because almost everything around you in the world is a shape.

Typography

Typography is the art or process of setting and arranging types and making your own creation out of letters and symbols. I created an out door scene with a butterfly!
